Started djing about 1988 in house parties in my neighborhood on tape decks until I got my hands on a synchronized tape player and thought wow !! I then moved to 2 drive belt turntables and started collecting records from my parents record collections. As the years passed, I attended college in Miami and decided to take my love for music seriously. That meant buying records, 1200’s and building a small sound. Hmmmm, how ?I was an international student with limited work access.. I started gradually by purchasing 45’s mainly; after tutoring kids in the residing area...I then bought 2 Technique 1200’s..(second hand) I started playing for the University’s parties and became popular around the area. I played along guys like Troyton from Black Shadow, Richie-D, Medusa, Rhythm Styles (now Black Chiney) just to name a few..Things looked promising. I then got club gigs some of the likes like Spirits, Stages and more…
LOL....let me not bore u anymore.... |
